Affiliate disclosure

Kids on Screens is free to read and our printables are free to download. To pay for running the site, some guides contain affiliate links. When you sign up for or buy a product through one of these links, the company may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same.

What this means for our recommendations

• We recommend products based on facts we can check: features, supported devices and current prices.
• A commission never decides whether a product is recommended, or how it ranks in a comparison.
• We always explain the free controls built into your devices, and say when they are enough.
• Guides that contain affiliate links say so at the top.

Advertising

The site may show ads from advertising networks. Ads are clearly separate from our guides, and advertisers have no say over what we write.

This disclosure follows the guidance of the US Federal Trade Commission on endorsements. Questions are welcome on our contact page.
